Anna Granger
Bio
I am a costume maker and supervisor for theatre and film, as well as a Textiles and Food teacher.

I studied BA (Hon) Textiles Surface Design Embroidery at University of Central England Birmingham before completing my PGCE in Secondary Textiles and Food Technology at Worcester University. I then taught at a school in Sandwell for 5 years, then moved to London to study Costume Making and Supervising at Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

On completing my course, I decided that I wanted to be a freelance maker and also still be involved in teaching. I moved back to Hereford, where I grew up, where I have a small workshop, and occasionally do supply teaching.

I have worked on a variety of costumes for films and shows including pantomimes and operas, and have supervised several films and shows. Although making is my main passion, I also enjoy being part of the show, so am always willing to be a dresser on the shows I am working on.

As well as making costumes, I also make clothing and other textiles items to order, and would like to start running small workshops to teach people how to sew and make garments.

Please check out my portfolio to see what kind of products I can make.
